Small, cozy ice cream shop with a very good price-performance ratio. The ice cream is delicious, not too sweet and in the evening there are also pizza and baguettes on offer. Also highly recommended. Very friendly staff. Hence, rightly FIVE STARS! 🍨🍧🍦

Since we are in Gartow quite spontaneously, we didn't get a restaurant seat quickly because everything was fully booked. We went to the "ice maker". They make very tasty pizzas (!), Followed by an ice cream. Also absolutely delicious. The boss is very friendly and the service courteous. Unfortunately no photos .....

Apparently the only ice cream shop far and wide, otherwise you couldn't afford to sell such a small portion of spaghetti ice cream for € 6.50. This is something you only know from tourist strongholds. I can not say anything negative about the taste, you can hardly do anything wrong.

So we came from Berlin as a family, in Berlin we know a lot of ice cream makers and pizzerias, good and bad. The pizza for 7 euros tasted moderate, neither good nor bad just OK. We can say the same about ice cream, it's neither good nor bad, it's OK. We left almost 40 euros for 3 people, in Berlin you get more culinary offers. I was traveling a lot in Germany, nowhere else can you eat as tasty and inexpensive as in Berlin. I think for these opponents, Der Eismacher is "the best pizzeria and ice maker, you shouldn't expect culinary highlights.

Were guests on the first summer day 2019. Have indulged in an ice cream and were extremely pleasantly surprised. The ice cream was really fruity and delicious. Service and handling were good too.

The ice cream was delicious and we were served very friendly. The prices are ok. I'll definitely come back more often when I'm in the area (I often do bigger bike rides and as the area around Gartow is very nice, I often go by bike here).

The varieties are just heavenly! There is definitely no sign of unfriendliness or listless behavior. You are always greeted with a smile. The wait staff are always friendly, ready to chat and give great insider tips. Even the price for a large ball is more than fair! If you want to treat yourself to a break in a quiet, nice and hospitable place, you should definitely stop by here! It's really totally worth it!
